What are the bags made of?
Heavy cotton canvas, 16 to 20 oz depending on the bag, with cotton webbing straps, cotton linings and metal buckles, zips and rivets. Our waxed bags are finished with a plant wax we work in by hand.
How do I look after canvas?
Brush off dry dirt, then spot clean with cold water and a soft brush. Please do not machine wash a waxed bag. When the finish starts to look dry, rub in a little plant wax and warm it with a hair dryer.
How does the Repair Plan work?
For a year, we mend any bag of ours as often as it needs: seams, zips, straps and buckles. Send it in with a note and we send it back mended, usually within two weeks. Nothing ships when you join, and you can cancel any time from your account.
What do Travelers’ Club members get?
Members open our members-only pages: packing guides for short trips and long ones, and an early look at each new canvas color with the first chance to order it. It is all online, nothing ships, and you can cancel any time from your account.
